Life, Liberty and Property

In this day and age, many of us do not truly understand what it means to have these things in their full definition. We are all alive, but does that mean we have life? Are we free to do as we pleased within the confines of what is morally just? Are we allowed to say that something that we have is actually ours with no strings attached? These are questions we all should be asking ourselves. And if no is the answer for even a single one of them, then we must as human beings look at the people and the governments around us and see if we can make this better. I for one cannot say that I have true liberty. Liberty is defined as the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one’s way of life, behavior, or political views. None of us now have true liberty, and we may never have it, but we must strive for it. To truly live in a better world, we must strip off the shackles of overreaching government and take back that which is rightfully ours. That which is not given to us by government, but from something greater than that. For government is a man made thing, our creator bestowed these upon us and government should not and cannot take them away.

Our government has been corrupted by the very people we elect into it, they are supposed to be serving us but they have not done so for a very long time. Power, greed and false philanthropy have taken hold. No longer does the government fear its people, the people now fear its government. And by force the government decides how we should live our lives. We do not have a complete say on how we want to live. By the government reaching into your pockets and taking your hard earned dollars, using it for programs and things that are not even allowed, they have plundered and stolen from you. People from all parties, be that the Democrats, Republicans, Green, or Independent, all have tapped into the keg of the federal government. And by them using this money to fund these programs they have taken away part of your life, liberty and property. They have slowly stripped away your personal independence, they have oppressed you, and they have stolen from you. The elected officials have used the law in order to do this. The law is meant to restrict their actions and enforce that your life, your liberty and your property are neither taken nor infringed.

The answer to fixing this problem is not to riot, attack or label people things which they are not. In order for us to get back to what this country was founded on, we must fix the law that is already in place. We must hold those people, that we elect and speak for us, to do a better job at upholding and enforcing the foundation of this great nation. We must also put forth people that hold these three ideals as their core beliefs. If we could get everyone to unite under these three ideals, then we could see an unbelievable future for all of us. We need to make America what is once was, the beacon for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That beacon has diminished, we need to light that fire that is buried within us all. Does not matter your race, ethnicity, gender or party affiliation, we need to all unite.
